MGM+ has secured rights for the U.S., Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Latin America to Vanished, the four-part mystery thriller series from AGC Television. It has set a February 2026 launch.
Shot on location in Marseille and Paris, the thriller stars Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) Sam Claflin (Peaky Blinders), Karin Viard (The Bélier Family), Matthias Schweighöfer (Oppenheimer), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale) and Dar Zuzovsky (The Survivor).
The synopsis reads: “Alice Monroe’s romantic French vacation becomes a dangerous mystery when boyfriend Tom Parker vanishes from a train to Arles, forcing her to uncover hidden truths about his past.”
The series is created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, written by Preston Thompson, directed by Barnaby Thompson, and executive-produced by James Clayton (Slow Burn Entertainment), David Kosse (Rockwood Pictures), Barnaby Thompson (Fragile Films), Preston Thompson, Kaley Cuoco and AGC’s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Miguel A. Palos Jr.
As we previously revealed, Prime Video has deals in place for the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. AGC has also finalized a co-production deal with ARD Degeto Film for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. AGC International is distributing the series worldwide.
The new deals were negotiated by Andrew Miller and Doug Goodkind for MGM+ US; Michael Katzer for MGM+ International; Sebastian Lückel and Claire Zechiel for ARD Degeto Film; and by AGC’s VP of Legal & Business Affairs Conor McElroy for AGC.
