Scarlett Johansson's husband Colin Jost makes fun of the fact that he should also get credit as she becomes the highest-grossing actor of all time.
Last weekend, Scarlett Johansson notched yet another No. 1 movie, thanks to "Jurassic World Rebirth's" release. With that, she now holds the title of highest-grossing actor at the worldwide box office ever, over her MCU co-stars like Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr. When her husband, SNL’s Colin Jost, was asked what he thought about Johansson’s massive achievement, he hilariously joked about perhaps being included in the honor.
In its first week in theaters, "Jurassic World Rebirth" has already made $409.2 million worldwide (per The Numbers) after its No. 1 holiday weekend and is expected to make hundreds of millions more as Superman arrives as the latest of 2025 movie releases to hit the big screen. With "Rebirth," Johansson’s worldwide box office total is reportedly up to $14.9 billion.
"Jurassic World Rebirth" marks the fourth "Jurassic World" spinoff and the seventh movie in the "Jurassic Park" franchise overall. Once again, we get a ragtag group of characters who come face to face with all sorts of terrifying dinosaurs. And for the first time in a long time, you don't have to have seen any of the previous films to dive in.
Since it opened in theaters on Wednesday, July 2, "Jurassic World Rebirth" has already made big bucks, pulling in over $725 million at the global box office. But if you're waiting to watch the movie from the comfort of your own home, here's my best guess at when "Jurassic World Rebirth" might come to streaming services.
